Yakima Valley Veterans Coalition is a grass roots Veterans non-profit focused solely on helping our local Veterans connect to the resources they deserve. We work with the Yakima County Veterans Program supporting our Food Pantry and Clothing Closet.

At Yakima Neighborhood Health Services, they believe that behavioral health (mental health and substance abuse) should be integrated into overall health with good communication between behavioral health providers and primary care providers. They share information such as treatment plans and medication lists. They offer behavioral health services to all patients regardless of ability to pay or health insurance status. They screen for major depression, postpartum depression, substance abuse and other conditions and refer patients to the appropriate treatment options. In many cases, brief therapy, more often called counseling, is provided in all our clinics by trained professionals.
