The recycling center is open Monday 10 am-Saturday noon.
If the cardboard bins are full we may close earlier on Saturday. During the winter months the recycling center may close due to inclement weather.
Our recycling center is almost entirely volunteer-run. Volunteers put in over 50 hours a week helping maintain the recycling program. Each year we recycle over 800,000 pounds.
We are able to accept:

Please note: Paper labels must be removed from aluminum pet food cans. All craft beverage cans with paper or plastic labels MUST have the labels removed or be placed in the "Tin" recycling bin.

Please NO: plastic, glass, Styrofoam, batteries, bulbs, E-waste, or organic matter.
There are currently no commercial recycling facilities for these items in the Yakima area.
